Another request because I'm insane and bother you too often with stupid requests :?

You know how your map actually does some pre-drawn version before the real map populates? Is there a way to keep THAT map shown and not the actual populated one? It looks so much fucking better.

Well, this is totally possible. Will need some polishing(setting colors for some terrain types I've forgot, like mountains) before releasing, but doable.

Also, doesn't the preloaded map not show cliffs? I remember trying to search a mountain one time and the main map wouldn't load and I was stuck staring at a giant pink blob trying to figure out where I'd been and where I hadn't and I just gave up and went home.

well, yes, generated map don't show any objects such as trees and cliffs.

Oh, I was unaware.

I just like the colors and such, very simple, blending of different tile types are very nice, etc.

im new here, sorry if im making a dumb question but how do I make the utilities like highlight objects behind trees and hide bushes work? I've been on the extended menu and clicked those option but nothing apear to happen, tried it on the options menu either.
Thanks in advance and keep the good work with the custom client.

if you want to highlight objects behind trees and houses, you need to stand behind the same thing hiding your object
also: use ender's client's hide command, its much easier :D
loftar: New hair styles? Really? Seeing how Jorb never gets off his lazy ass to draw some, I almost want to add them to the game proper.

ScegfOd, I know about that, my issue is I'm using the Enders client and when I select the hide command nothing seems to happen
