Game Client modified by Ender

Got a new laptop and installed latest java 7 64bit. grabbed the 64bit client and updater and installed the same as on my old PC and am able to launch and log in fine, but when i click log in the client cant seem to load...



any ideas?

try deleting your belt file?

No belt file. I have never even set up bars on this comp.

Suggestion: look for latest drivers (graphic), check your AV program, Firewall...

Enabled by checking in Tools/General Tab and or turned off at Extras menu ?!?

I need help, everytime i try to log in it says "Connection Refused:Connect" i have no idea what it means, i am connected to the internet idk what to do

Open Ports UDP 1870 and TCP 1871 - in Windows firewall create exceptions for them - in Router you'll have to look for the settings yourself - make sure you don't have an Antivirus blocking ( you might do exceptions for java.exe, javaw.exe in it )

you also may edit your run.bat to having a new line containing

Umm i need some help.
I haven't played this game before. I downloaded ender's game client and the updates because the original downloader didn't work for me. I can start the game until the login screen. I press login then the screen goes black and i can't even quit the game i have to restart the whole computer to make it disappear.
Anyone can help me?

1. make sure you have the latest Java 7u7 - for url look here

2. make sure you're using the same bit version of Java and Ender - 32Bit + 32Bit or 64Bit + 64Bit

the run.bat has to point to the path of the right bit version of Java (32Bit - javaw.exe , 64Bit - java.exe)
there are different examples posted all over the forums...

3. ports TCP 1871 and UDP 1870 are needed - make sure your Firewall, Router or AV program aren't blocking them
(already said in post before yours...)

prolly it's the same reason why the default isn't finishing downloading - when default doesn't run properly any custom client won't aswell...
