Seems you have to go the usual github forking and compiling way now ;) which btw. finally leads to a Xcom client (and the in my opinion "missleading" topic title finally can be edited )

I was hoping it wouldn't come to it but I guess your right. Going to try find a file hosting to upload all the files and all that. Im unsure if I have a 32 bit version of the old enders around for those that need a 32 bit version.

Yo, I read through this thread and tried everything suggested about this error but I can't fix this shit.

I got this, manually implanted all the res files where it was asking for them, and then I got the same error for res\paginae\global which doesn't exist anywhere.

help pls

search for this in your folder. If its not there that's your problem. Worth a shot.

Was I not clear enough? That file was not there, so I put it there manually from the jar, and I did that manually for everything it asked for until it asked for something that doesn't exist.

The point of troubleshooting is to go one by one and find all the things its not caused by. Start with the easiest.

After the latest Ender update alot of things broke. Going to try do what borka suggested and make a 32 bit and a 64 bit version and upload the complete clients.

@Ninijutsu Im unsure if you can make it work. If your getting that perticular error try and extract the client-res.jar content into the res folder. If you get jogl related errors then I can't help as I seam to be stuck on the same error and I don't know why that particular error shows up.

Yesterday i decided to try this client fork out. i made a new folder and made a fresh download of ender with this damn updater, and then extracted your rar file over it. it just didnt work. the ender updater does not download that run, MS-DOS batch file the one that can be edited that you find with the old downloads, so the only way to get the game started seems to be by pressing that updater file, wich then seems to update the files ones more probably removing some of the files that came from your rar file. i even tryed copying the run, MS-DOS batch file into this new folder dindnt work. tryed editing it aswell. never worked.

so finally i gave up, i took a copy of my old download from Ender, extracted your rar file on top of it, and then your update nr 5, and it seems to work fine now.
