Exactly. Again, there's an issue with placing challenges on client end instead of server. I'm not saying it's a good thing, I'm saying it can be done and will be done, and it might have been done already for all I know. Thus, the whole combat system is flawed.

Back on topic. Nao you are completely over estimating yourself. Your movement combat might be superior for now and I actually don't care much for pathfinding bots etc.

What I am talking about would be on a whole other scale. Since one could run dozens and dozens of clients and I can make an army supporting those client almost on my own with the curio system. You'd literally get trapped with nowhere to run. Then you can shove your movment combat elswhere. Nobody has done this so far, but it can be done.

I written a primitive combat bot but never really shared it to people. And those I explained of the bots are of few people and that is the basics. Last of all that was the prototype bot while the more advanced one I was working on a while back was planned to be capable of fending against a higher level attacker. Why did I make such a bot? Training purposes. Not to mention I need to get my ass kicked several times to keep my head away from the clouds.

If someone is an adept at Trigonometry, Calculus III, and AI, they can actually make a combat bot that can pathfind while changing priority to combat move when the target is near to avoid movement penalty. It won't be as good as Nao is but it can be made to not fall for his mobile tricks. I have knowledge of 2/3 fields but what I have is enough. But I do know it is possible, though difficult.

Wow, I'm really surprised that someone actually did make a combat bot, I had not considered sparring as a reason for making one.
Anyway, combat is quite fun and I don't think a lot of people would want to replace that aspect of the game with bots. This is the only game where combat has gotten me to shake uncontrollably in real life.
I do see a need for good farming bots though, since farming in H&H is just tedious.
