Flask timings not really a big concern, you have 3 litres to worry about filing your flask, and there are a few ways to get away still with out running your opponent out of water. Also, this is a step in the direction of removing fast travel, which I believe many people supported.

It may be a step forward, but I also see it as two steps backwards. To me it just reads as a last minute band - aid solution with little consideration into the other aspects of the game.

What alg did was nothing but show the flaws and broken mechanics already present in the game. Fixing something like this this late in the game just deepens the problem. Your providing a major change and it seems to lack consideration for the party that may end up being chased. I got no qualms against removal of fast travel and the likes, i'd just prefer if it was done at the start of a server. (Though this isn't removal of fast travel, I thought I'd just state that).

New server, plx, with not-broken siege mechanics?

I agree with you Astarisk it was a band aid fix and it was already mentioned that the point of the auto hearth mod was not because we are killing people but because client modification is out of hand and I support that. BUT... I feel this is a better fix then everyone having auto hearth.

I commend you for actually getting the reason as to why alg released the mod right, unlike your other comrades who feel the need to flame, and physically threaten him. (boohoo, It's the Internet).
