Also, my post was to point out to arvinja what a terrible idea implementing it would be (a post i probably should of PM'd him). Is it my fault alg decided to attempt to break the game with the mod? No.

He's not really bitching. More discussing (and correctly so), the method of a "bandaid" fix to a much larger problem.

You're acting like this idea wouldn't have been released anyways. There are countless of other individuals and I would not doubt it if clients already had this featured in it.

I may have to lower myself a notch or two and start using Ad Hominem statements, seeing as how its impossible to argue with ignorance and arrogance.

Then you have to hope he doesn't run to his friends, find a a boat, or any of other things he can run into while jogging through the hearthlands for 20 minutes at the same run speed as the person chasing him.

*EDIT* ^ that could be a lot of fun.

You may have foiled the plans of BAD-EVIL this time, but there is no rest for the wicked.

Still, a bandaid fix is more then i expected (no offense to devs), at least they stepped in to a game breaking client mod and put some way of disabling it. No, it's not ideal.

And honestly, 10 second delay beats a toggle pvp button. Though they probably could of gone with 3 seconds, as if the person fleeing doesn't have enough advantages.

So you want alg to start putting more effort into this game, maybe he should release more ideas and modifications of his? I'm sure he'd be up for the challenge. It's not like this was the only idea of his. (It wasn't even his idea, he didn't think about doing it until a post by you revealed it existed.)

make auto-aggro client, lets see what shitstorms you can brew up then.

Why bother, with the latest change all you need is sight of the enemy, and an inventory full of bucketed water =].

Alternative Timeline:
Auto-hearth is released on the russian H&H forums along with a client called RisenEdition II: Portgas strikes back.
It contains auto-hearth and suddenly a lot of people are downloading it.
Accounts start being stolen, people accuse other people randomly, until finally someone finds out who did it, only to have the devs ignore it (but they restore some accounts).

Sounds like sci-fi, I know.

Absolutely no one disagrees with you here... Dunno who exactly you're raging against.

Regardless of whether it is a band-aid or not, the change seems quite reasonable. No matter how you slice it instant teleporation with no delay is a bit retarded under any circumstance.

Cast-time and stun, I'd like to play Defense of the Hearthlings.
