[multi client lag]

Played a bit around with running multiple clients (on same computer & Win-Host) and think the additional lag with multiple clients is cache files related. About the how I'm not to sure. But the fact that the lag seems to switch from one client to a other over time makes me think that the general "allused.cached" file might be the main reason. As its the only cache file that seem in need to be regular opened(+possible edits(=lock?)) for cache updates.

Default client seems to be effected a little by this to. But not at much as Ender client at the moment. (need to retest/compare default client again after I did a relative short test run with 3 fully separated* Ender-clients ... that where running very smooth. But that was only a short initial test run.)
*) separate client setup, +separated local-cache locations.

... Fun stuff, playing with yourself ... :)

Why would you ever have your alt-speed be anything other than run/sprint? Are you just suggesting that because you don't want to have to click it every time you log in?

Some characters may have it differently. I have some characters set to sprint, some to run, some to walk. It all depends.

Some alts are born and live their whole life in terrains that do not favor running or sprinting.

Ender what I mean is that for it to remember your 'speed' when you log out. Preferably based on character, but I'd be okay with an overall setup. ATM everytime I login it's set to Walk again, so for characters that frequently login/out but should run, I have to Alt-E every time I login which is no better than Ctrl-E'ing anyway.
