7x7 supergrids, 5000 tiles squared each, totaling 35000 tiles squared.

The world map in the thread is an accurate depiction of the world's size.

If one were to run in one direction what would happen when they got to the edge of the world? Could you tell you were at the end?

You collide with an invisible wall and cannot continue forward.

Is the MapUploader.jar in the same folder as the map folder?

looks like your windows can't find the path to your java (guess in Linux it's set in environment by default)
url for hints how to put java in windows environment:

and about "connection to server is unavailable" we need to wait for alg to read this and fix it ...

followed the steps but still nothing. but its fine. i guess i can just upload the map folder to my linux and then upload from it when the connection problem gets fixed

EDIT:
Fixed it, had to reinstall java7 for it to work. I guess i had java 6,7, and 8 on my pc lol removed them all and just installed java 7 64 bit and now it works.

BTW, they fix the server upload issue yet?

Two questions and one dependent question here.

1: Is the map linked in the OP still the correct map for the current world of H&H?
1a: If so, is something wrong with the server the uploader is supposed to send it to? It always gives me some form of connection error and tells me it's unable to upload.

2: How exactly does one find themselves on the world map when all's said and done?

Thanks. :)

1. It's very outdated, but all the river systems, mudflats, mountains, etc are all still the same... the villages and trees might be very wrong though.
1a. Nothing's wrong with it, they don't maintain the map anymore (or some other similar reason).
2. You can use this client, or just look for significant landmarks at one of the corners of your supergrid, and then look at the corner of each supergrid on the map for that landmark. It's also possible you're not on the map though. As you can see, there are many supergrids that aren't even halfway mapped.
