Game Client modified by Ender

why is it when i use this client the game gets White screen'd every 5-10-30 minutes?

Only on this client, and not on the normal client

I can get the client to run but unable to log in...type in username and password and a message comes up at the bottom of the login screen saying:


Connection Refused: connect

help please.

Try to wait longer at start. Patience is required. If you wait for 5 minutes and nothing happens, switch to different client/computer.
Weaker computers have this problem on Edners.

What do you mean "at the start" When I click log on at hearth fire? or when my characters show up?

Does it crash or hang? Crash: program closes and (maybe) returns and error. Hangs: The program seemingly stops responding.

From the picture you gave, the program is working just fine. Some computers take longer for the program to completely load than others (depends on internet and system both).

I modified the run.bat in the manner specified in the original post, but when I try to run it it says "Windows is missing -xms256m" and so on. What am I doing wrong?

When I see black screen I wait for 5 minutes and it works, but there is probability that the problem is different for you.

It's not a black screen. The thing loads, but not all of it does.
