Game Client modified by Ender

I tried the troubleshoot flow chart but it didn't help. What happens is when I try to get on the log in shows up, I log in, and if my username and password are correct then the screen just turns black and does nothing else.

I am using the same folder (transferred it with my flashdrive) and it works perfectly at home. My run.bat contains this

.\updater\HnH_updater.exe
start javaw -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res

and my haven.jar file is 857KB

Also note that the standard client works fine, it is just enders. Any suggestions or should I just try a different client? I don't know much about the school's computers since they aren't mine.

They are hanging when logging in at school because those computers weren't made to play videogames. The Ender client is not optimized for systems with slow/poor GPUs.

use the 32bit ver. Just because windows is 64bit, doesn't mean you are running 64bit java. Most have 32 bit java installed.

Awesome, it's a lot of fun. Just don't get discouraged if you die. If you haven't died at least 7 times, then you aren't playing it right! (Pro-Tip: Make alt chars for the risky/trial stuff )

Hey all!

I was hoping I could bother you with a small problem. Just found this game yesterday, and ended up downloading Ender's client and playing for several straight hours. I really enjoy the game!

During the first launch, login and playsession with Ender's client, all the features worked perfectly. Since then, however, subsequent launches of the client and login session have been increasingly buggy. Whereas the first time I launched the client and logged in I could hide/unhide trees and other objects, now I can't do that any more. Also, I've noticed that the map has stopped updating - it didn't show my log cabin on the minimap until I logged into the game using the traditional client.

I've tried to fix this by deleting all the configuration files I could from Ender's client, but that didn't work - it just reset my hotbars. Next, I deleted and re-extracted the Ender's client from the .zip file. It didn't make a difference. Finally, I found and deleted the contents of a .haven folder that I found while attempting to find temp data in my AppData folder. Again, no difference. I can play the game more or less normally using either client, but certain features of Ender's client, such as hiding and unhiding objects still doesn't work at all.

I am using both 64bit windows 7 and 64bit Java.

Any help would be appreciated!

P.S. I had to create a second account to post on the forum - kept getting a mysql duplicate something something error when trying to access the forum while logged on to my "main" account - perhaps this is related?

32 bit java
I've got the 32 bit ender client
and i can get the regular game to work but i always get this error with the custom client when i click login

Download - unpack - start with run.bat from Ender client folder...

Problems with running it? Read a bit in this thread or use forums search first before posting...

enders game loved that book never got to read the last 2 of the set enders shadow and the other one cant get them now there out of print or thats what bam says anyway were can i get this from for windows as the normal one from the web page just stoped working this afternoon
