Im a bit confused regarding the hitbox problems. Does this mean your still getting incorrect hitbox info with trees with the latest client?

The way this new client works is that it forcefully uses the hitbox data of non-custom res files.

Especialy when I supplied the code and pointed you towards whatever you wanted to change, told you in which files to look. So the only thing you would actualy need to google is an app to open .java files. Which you can open in notepad anyway. You're the food for others irl lol

Actually you didnt told me which files to edit, as i cant find any file named speedget. Also i asked the OP to do it, if you dont like it its your problem, i know he got some work, but i dont force him to do it, i just asked and maybe he finds some time to put it in the code.

I can add that to the next update. The problem with uploading each updates are the uploads. I don't have an easy way to send updates like the original ender updater. Maybe I could look into how he does it and make it easier to send updates faster.

But I'll include the ability to memorize both speed and personal claims so the client remembers it after reboots.

could you somehow make it so that overlapping authority etc only displays 1 layer?

we placed a bunch of statues near each other and its really hard to see the ground with village authority on and it was really laggy. i was wondering if it was possible to make so the game only drew 1 layer of authority if the ground had multiple statues acting on it?

Hello, I'd like to start off with saying this client in incredible. I played back in 2012 for a little while, but never got an custom client. I just got this one and now I'm pretty damn glad I did, and regret using default for so long. Anyways, I have an issue. Everything works well, but there are 2 annoying little occurrences I've noticed.

1: The client flickers randomly to black every few seconds while in maximum. Not sure if I'm not supposed to be able to hit the maximize button in the top right of the client, but if I don't then most of the panels in the game are too far from the screen to see. I tried toggling fullscreen, but it just made everything larger, and I only saw as much as if it were on windowed mode, except more zoomed in. This could be a problem with my computer, but I'd prefer to know that it is rather than living with the possibility that messing with a config file or the bat file could fix it.

2: I didn't play too much today after I got it, but after I aggro'd ants my fps went really low. My computer is very low end, and I'm wondering if there is a setting to turn off that will help out with my lag (I can live with default-client combat if it means I won't go down to about 1-2 fps)

Apart from those issues, it works great and I love it (can't seem to figure out how the save character works) and I'm really glad I took the time to download it.

EDIT: played a little more, the flickering seems to have stopped once I got on a boat and started boating around, and it seems only ants cause major fps lag for me, probably multiple animals aggro'd on me causes it

@DeadlyPencil In Options > General there should be a checkbox called "Use optimized claim highlight". If you manage to turn it off your game will lag regardless of how good your PC is. I would advice to always have that one on as it simplifies the village claims significantly and make rendering render smoother.

@hushpuppi3 Sounds like your pc have issues with the openGL rendering. Try updating the drivers and if the problem persists there is little that can be done. You can try downloading MvGulics optimized tile res but it will make the game very ugly although make it run slightly smoother. The issue is how the game client is coded. Its not the most optimal and is the reason why your getting alot of lag. Try to not zoom out to much and turn on edged tiles for optimizing the FPS as much as possible.

Yes, I should have waited a bit before commenting, the flickering is pretty rare now, its not really an issue

tinkered with some settings, the multi-aggro lag isn't as bad as it was earlier (aggro'd a herd of mouflons and it wasn't too bad)

I can't seem to replicated the issue to test it, but when I was trying to connect to global chat, it wouldn't connect and sat there with "Connecting to global chat...", and when I clicked the little x to try again, my client froze, had to close the program

Changing tree textures and after hiding trees is problem. Because there is no Hitbox on hidden mode. Looks like there is no any tree.

But with v01.25.2014 these textures work perfectly.
