When it says to direct to the game folder, does it mean autohaven.jar or another file I can't find? I checked AppData and a few others.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean...

Doesn't work.

Get a black box, tried the pause thing, still a black box.

java -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se
-pause

^ run.bat ^

Haven.jar is 698 kb.

Pressing it several times quickly I see something that looks as "access is denied".

Remove the dash in front of your "pause", so it says
Code: Select all
java -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se
pause

Obviously I tried this as well but it still doesn't work.

Well, that's not really obvious from anything you said, but I digress.
I suspect that you have read/edit rights on the file, but not execute rights. This is weird, because windows users don't usually deal with problems like this.
To verify the theory:
Click start -> run -> type "cmd", enter
Try to run your bat file (just enter the full path, like "c:\path\to\run.bat")
That should give you the full error.

Yep, just says "access is denied" I'll toy around a bit and see what I can do.

Edit: Tried changing where the folder was placed; moved from desktop to -> F:\

This got rid of the "Access is denied" but now nothing happens at all, even with the pause.

Is any of the following things applicable?
-You recently reinstalled windows
-You're trying to run HnH on a school computer
-You have multiple user accounts on your computer, and are running HnH in something like My Documents

You could try to use cmd again, and navigate to your HnH folder (with "cd directory-path"), and then try to run the contents of the bat file, just paste the "java -blabla -etc" text in the window. Also, you could try redownloading the client, and creating your own batch file, by deleting the old one first, and opening notepad, then save as run.bat or whatever.bat.
