What system do you have 32 or 64 bit?
I see you downloaded 64bit client (so your system is 64?) so what version of java do you use?

for more detailed log can you execute in console (in black window started by cmd command)

PATH=%PATH%;%PROGRAMFILES(X86)%\Java\jre6\bin\
start java -Djava.library.path=. -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res

by one command in one line?

and then paste all errors what it make so we can figure out, what wrong.

Deborah
JOGL
Mac arch = PPC - http://www.havenandhearth.com/java/jogl ... sx-ppc.jar
Mac arch = i386 (64 too) - http://www.havenandhearth.com/java/jogl ... versal.jar

gluegen-rt
Mac arch = PPC - http://www.havenandhearth.com/java/jogl ... sx-ppc.jar
Mac arch = i386 (64 too) - http://www.havenandhearth.com/java/jogl ... versal.jar

You need 2 archives one with JOGL and one with gluegen-rt for your acrhitecture (PowerPC or Intel\AMD)

Download this files to folder with ender client, extract libraries - and enjoy.
PS Ender. maybe you can include natives to linux and mac ? so client will work for almost everyone?

mirror for 32 bit http://rghost.ru/4239463
mirror for 64 bit http://rghost.ru/4239492
(russian hosting - sorry)

Thank you,
But I saw that perssons post and tried to follow it.
I need more step by steps then that. Also what to put in the run.command file.
I eventually took the haven.jar and the red filder and moved them into another client (gil) and atleast then I was able to ger the thing to come up and log in. Granted it only worked for a few minutes before dieing.

new version changes:
  • fixed toolbar not accepting hotkey if it is in focus
  • toolbars now remember their status (folded/locked/flipped)
  • toolbars now remember their positions
  • added new elements to grid menu in lower-right:
    • added option to toggle show radius of objects [x->r].
    • added option to toggle highlight hidden objects [x->s].
For radius of item to be visible you need try to place it at least once per session. Client will cache its radius and will highlight it when toggled.

Dear Ender,

Is it possible for you to add those features:

v. names always showed (on/off option?)
v. location of chat/map/hotbars being memorized/saved in some sort of config file?

- that was freakingly fast :D of you!
v. options for the chat window (transparency/colour/fillinf/background?)
v. fix the "kin-list" issue? Whenever you try to memorize someone or their property, you always need to open the kinlist manually. Is it possible to do it ..automatically?

Thank you.
Best Regards.

WOW THAT WAS FAST LOL

Following the hype I decided to try this client and it's great, so many options! I haven't tried everything yet but movable minimap and audio toggle are great!
However, I miss the old toolbar change shortcut (alt+1 is the first toolbar set, alt+2 for the second etc). I know there's a + and - to change it but is there a shortcut? I love to use it to quickly change from adventuring(1st set) to combat(2nd set) or taming chain(3rd set).

p.s. and yeah, the tooltips... GREAT! :)

Some suggestions for ya ender was going to start working on some of this but since you seem still active I'll give ya some ideas (usually people release these clients and drop development on them)
  • Moveable Main Panel (and resizable)
  • Moveable Build Menu (and resizable)
  • Remove the giant buttons on Main Panel (Inventory , char , config, equipment) replace with Mini Icons in moveable panel
  • Embedded Mp3 Player
  • Organize the Paper doll on Equipment screen and actually make it make sense (No more R1 , R2 , L1 , L2)
  • Help system built into client that allows people to search for stuff on wiki (doesn't need to be fully fledged browser, just grab text.)
  • Add option to show colored square where hidden items are.
  • Add timber house, rocks, log cabin to hide options.
