In all honesty the curled ends make it look terrible. Just the red cape/hood would look great.

Red Riding Hood cape?

Perfect! Now Jorb and Loftar just need to make wolves a regularly-appearing animal (maybe replace the elusive Wolf Capes with Bat/Troll Capes? I dunno) so that masses of red-hooded girls can run screaming through the night from them.
