Is it possible to increase the chat font size or color?

Yes, also, making it Sans-Serif in more places would make a lot of sense.

Wouldn't it be possible to do draw them manually clientside?

Of course it would be possible to draw 'something' manual by the client. But as the needed data on 'where'(radius) to draw the boundaries is not directly available, this data would need to be added by some other means. Whatever this other means is, it relies on either Ender or Users to get that data, and keep an eye on it to in case it changes. That's a general maintenance nightmare. And for something like a active in-game boundary not really wort doing. (better to pester game dev's about including it as a server returned data feature.)

Which we have done... several times if I recall right.

The main problem here is even not maintaining this data. It's that on client there is no difference between fence sign and mansion sign. So even if I had boundaries data for all objects it still won't help much.

Aha. ... Now vaguely recalling that 'building signs are all the same to client' issue.

well i'm not understanding a lot but if you need help, i whould be happy to help you with boring tasks. i can't code but if i've understand half of what do you say, is mostly a problem of catalogue exactly whic sign and wich size have any building and manually put it into the client?

No, this is only one, smaller, part of a problem. The real problem is that there is no way on client to tell whether this sign is for mansion or fence or kiln or whatever. All build signs are equal to client.
