enwar, restart the client. The IRC code is as shitty as it can get and sometimes it bugs out massively and disconnects you from the irc server as soon as it reconnects you to it. I haven't really looked at something to replace it with since I dread having to fix up everything again.

i recently switched to this client, and have been using the web version. I'm tired of my hotkeys being erased, so I'm switching to the downloadable version. However, when I try to run the .jnlp, it gives the error "Unable to load resource: http://github.com/Pacho/IRC-Extended/ra ... /haven.jar" Help?

god fucking damnit, that's it, I'm switching out of github. Anyone care to point me to another free option that isn't handled by an asshole website? As long as its not a total fuckwad like github I'm happy with it.

Most of you rage about github is probably because they aren't really a binary hosting site, they're a source code repository site.

Sab's offer is probably your best bet, failing that check out google code http://code.google.com/projecthosting/ they give you SVN, a bug tracker, a wiki and some file hosting space. It's a pretty good service, I wish they had git or mercurial though
