Had this problem earlier, I downloaded the 32 bit version (although I have a 64 bit) and problem was resolved.

Friend of mine needs help with this. When he tries to run it he gets this error message:

Windows cannot find 'javaw'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.

He has windows 7, and he's tried fixing it but it still hasn't worked. Any help?

Go to java.com and make sure you have the latest java installed. If you do, then change your run.bat from the link I posted to the 64-bit version.
