It keeps saying that run.bat is not an internal or external java file? It won't run.

batch files are for PC's. Linux uses .sh files, Mac probably uses something else. google + wikipedia are your friends

trav, it wasn't the binaries that held it up. I uploaded the code first, and then the binaries. The code itself took about two hours to upload, the binaries I just let run overnight.

I know I shouldn't be distributing the files like this, but its convenient as hell =v If google code starts fucking up, then maybe I'll change it.

Pacho any idea why I am getting that error message when I try to run the BAT on Win 7? Happens to both 64 and 32 bit.

are you trying to open the batch file with java? that wouldn't work. That message really makes no sense otherwise ._.

Not that I know of. I tried to run it from the command prompt and I tried double clicking the file.

I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 64 Bit. The client was working before I switched over (was previously using Windows Vista 32 bit.)

Since I have started using W7, I cannot get the client to load though. The prompt screen that pops up just automatically closes once I try to load it. It's not open long enough for me to click the top bar to try to drag or anything and no error message/system message pops up when it closes. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue or if anything it has been mentioned before (if so sorry).

Any advice/tips you could throw my way to try to get this going? :D

try running it on a command console

windows key + r -> type cmd -> enter -> go to the directory you downloaded the client -> run -> tell us the results =v

Also, if you use the jnlp and it crashes, it gives a handy dialog with all sorts of info.

Using the Jnlp actually worked fine.

Using the cmd, and typing the directory to try and load it

in my case would be C:\Users\<name>\Desktop\Haven\run.bat

and it spits out

C:\Users\<name>>java -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar sh.seatribe.se 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

then returns to C:\Users\<name>> prompt

name edited out and placed in <name> instead
