Update is out.

All the features listed in the features tab and mentioned earlier have been added in the latest update. Enjoy.

Few things to note about this update. If you want to use the flask drinking to brake combat you have to make sure the flask is properly hot keyed in the options window.

I also tried to find a optimization in the code to make less lag but had little luck. Will keep trying.

Some of the bugs Brás posted was fixed as well but not all. Will take a closer look now that this update is out.

Lastly I wanted to ask about adding two features that might be considered botting. The first script would simply pave/farm/mudflat a selected area only without any other extended additions. If this is considered botting or more like an extended feature. You would just go to adventure and select the type of action you do like per usual but as a feature you could hold shift and select an area instead of a single tile to preform the action on. The second feature would just auto drink from flask when you where mining and dropping ore on the ground when they showed up in your inventory. If its considered botting I would just not add it. But if its more or less accepted it would make life slightly easier.

Please give your opinions on either the first or the second feature or if both are just borderline bots and shouldn't be in a bot free client.

I honestly wouldn't mind having bots on the client, haven is already filled with bots. Adding bots to the client will help the people without bots and also people with bots. In all it doesn't really affect me. (Agree)

From my point of view even the simple auto-drinker from previous versions can be considered botting. I have no issues with botting tedious tasks, just with the abuse of it, as I mentioned in other threads. The decision is yours to make.

btw does the battery ram sound have any meaning? I couldn't tell what was being screamed

He is just screaming, NO.

I think I might just add that first feature and see where it goes from there.

Btw Chrome reports "Apoc Lite Update: 2014 19 mar" 64-bit as Malware. Had to disable the protection to download the files :(

This is very strange. Is it because the file is a zip file? or its because of the file hosting that I uploaded to?

I run norton on this pc and did the zipping before uploading the file. Oddly the malware would also only show up after the files were extracted not at the time of downloading.

At this point most bots are just used as extententions of the client, farming, filling a barrel, picking all mussels in an area. Personally I wouldn't use it as my paver is a bit more advanced, but the select area thing as part of the general ui would be a good addition.
perhaps you could add it for other actions too, such as harvest, and destroy.

Considering you'd still have to manage it (selecting the area, what to do etc.), I don't think it should considered botting. To be honest, I think features like that should've been on the originial client from the start. Those are very boring and time consuming chores, and are driving me away from the game.

Just avoid things that would directly affect other peoples games, such as foraging or hunting.

If you are going to do it, please add filling barrels and tanning tubs as well.

Chromium 34.0.something didn't report malware.

I'll be editing this post with issues I've been experiencing with the current version. I edited the old post to add an issue I forgot.

Reproducible (at least for me):
- Alert sounds stopped working. Even by clicking the "Play" button. Seems to be an issue with IcedTea/PulseAudio, thus affecting Linux only. Call trace:

Would be great if you would remove thicket lag on this client.
