Yep ... server was just not sending the minimap's images.
- Could be because of a (temporary) minimap related server problem.
- Could be because those minimap images where deleted. (And it take time to re-generate them again.)
- Could be because the server is trying to (also temporary) lower its general bandwidth use. (unlikely, or else rare case.)

turn it off and on again at general Tab in options? or edit windows.conf in Ender folder...
