@ the OP.
'tis great drawings (mostly) i really think we sshould be able to choose a hair style in the creation room, also i like the nerobeard and red cape drawing, though i agree with everyone that the mansion could use a little more work

you should do a house frame to replace the signposts. Its kinda odd how you can build a house, but its just a sign and then suddenly, BAM, house.

It doesn't work that way. All signposts are the same.

not really. a sign post for a building, a stone mansion say IS different. the area it covers is different for one thing, and for another its a different object being built entirely.

I can imagine how it would be slightly difficult to change one sign but not another, but I dont think its impossible.

Yes it is, at least with graphics alone, the graphic used for the building sign is the same for all structures.

Yeah, it'd have to be changed programmatically. I haven't really taken enough of a look at the source to see what would need to be changed, but the hitboxes exist already, whether it's client or server side. If the information is just server side and the only thing sent to the client is 'signpost (x,y)'--without what the sign is for--then it may not even be doable.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
