Also, you could try redownloading the client, and creating your own batch file, by deleting the old one first, and opening notepad, then save as run.bat or whatever.bat.

Alright, where do I download the client? :P I've always just pressed "play" at the top of this website.

I assume you got it somewhere at some point? I mean, you must be trying to use gilbertus' client if gilbertus' client is not working for you, right?

Ah, the gilbertus client you mean? I use the 64 bit version of java by the way.

Okay, http://www.is.gd/h3aPL then.
Yes, the client. The play button at the top just gets you the original client. Yet you are here in this thread, which is for troubleshooting the gilbertus client, yet you say that you always just press "play" at the top of the website.

Haha don't misunderstand me, I thought you meant the regular client when you said to download it. I got the 64 bit gilbertus client link from a friend, it's teh same one as you just linked.

Ah, right :P
Quick question: Did you actually extract the zip file? Or just doubleclick it?

I extracted it, obviously. How else would I be able to edit the bat file? :P

It's possible by just doubleclicking and saying "yes" when it asks you to save it back to archive. But that's not what we want here, so ignore that.
Try creating your own batch file, by opening a new file in notepad, pasting in the command line, then save as run2.bat.

Nah, doesn't work.

I'm usually having trouble running the original client as well, often have to restart firefox several times to get it to run. Something is messy with my java, even after reinstalling it 20 times

You could try installing 32 bit java. Works fine on 64 bit windows, and usually doesn't really make a difference in speed or whatever.
