World 6 Mapping

I uploaded a bunch of maps earlier today, but they have not updated on the world map. I see that many of them are not on the existing map yet, including my main base, though I was able to find a tile immediately adjacent to my main base after much painstaking scouring of the map.

Does it take more than one person to "find" the map tiles before they're updated? Or how does the mapper thingiemabobber figure out where to put stuff? Can I tell you where to put it?

The bit that confuses me, I uploaded all mine, it updated and showed my area, but now there is a big white area over where my part of the map had been.

Yea, I'm fixing some issues which occured, and its taking longer then I would like =|

Everything should be fine once I get back from my classes today, just need to sync the files between the two machines now.

I just nuked the area off the map for now, hopefully people will reupload some good files for that area

was there a rollback of map images? yesterday the map showed my village and a nearby village fairly up to date with recent structures, now it's not showing those.

no, just a username or something so I can keep track

So is there any way to find out where you are besides going grid by grid searching?

EDIT: so, im randomly zooming in and out and i found it!!!
