What about the second part of my message? Did you check the res folder? I think thats the problem.

Yeah, I have that file, I noticed there was also an updown file, could it be that I'm missing upleft and upright?

I have searched around for a solution and its honestly very odd bugs your getting and its working code that I haven't changed from Enders client that your getting errors from. Can you try the 32 bit version and see if your getting the same errors.

I honestly don't think its missing files or anything. It might just be that the java version your running have incompatibility issues or something. I'm still a total nooblet in coding so this stuff is right at the very edge of my understanding.

One other test you could do is to see if your able to run Anemone client. If you can then I must have messed with something that causes the issues.

I guess my mac just hates clients that aren't Ender's :|
Apoc Lite, anemone, even the default client won't run!

Its an intended feature from xcom, when its fullmoon ingame, boars and bears (?) turn into wolfes, the res is ofc just changed, so animals stay the same.

Thanks alot for the information Lordtimo. That's why i got attacked twice by boars (coz that red circle disappears and it's kinda hard to see them) and hardly managed to run away.

I'm trying to use the mini trees and schematic crops from https://sites.google.com/site/mvgulik/hnh, and they are strangely offset in Apoc.

I've tried with a fresh installation, and it's the same, I tried deleting all contents of res and custom_res (while having to replace a few so it wouldn't crash), and then put the mods files in, and also no change.

A fresh enders installation however works fine.

Here's what it looks like:
The crop tiles are offset ~half a tile above the ground tiles:

(The hide position works fine)

And the mini trees are... several tiles up and to the left...

In reality they are here:

Thanks for anything you can find out.

Some general res data related to this case:
Code: Select all
filespec: "tree_mini.res"
neg_data: [0, 0, -1, -14, 0, 14, 148, 155, 0]
image_data[0]: (  0,  0, 0, -1, -27, -45)
image_data[0]: (-10, -1, 0, -1, -84, -42)

filespec: "tree_trans.res"
neg_data: [62, 127, -1, -14, 0, 14, 148, 155, 0]
image_data[0]: (  0,  0, 0, -1,  0,   0)
image_data[1]: (-10, -1, 0, -1, 19, 110)

neg_fields: [ccx|ccy|bcx|bcy|bsx|bsy|szx|szy|en|...]
img_fields: [z|sz|nooff|id|ox|oy]

The only main difference between trans-tree's and mini-trees is: That in the mini-tree set the NEG-offset fields where zero'd (moved and merged into image's offset fields -> making them negative).

This should normally not be a problem ... but in this case it seem to be most probably reason for the odd offset on the mini-tree's in the Apoc Lite client.

nts: check known specks on negative values for related fields.
