If anyone needs any help getting Enders set up on a Macintosh with OSX then just let me know. I've been doing it for years now and I think I've got it down pretty well.

client wont launch, get the "windows cannot find -Xms256m" bullshit.

Code: Select all
start "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin" -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se

removed the "start" from the command as mentioned in the instructions for this issue and that gets rid of the error and blinks a java command window for a split second as though it is trying to launch but it never does, running windows 7 so i tried both 64 and 32 bit versions of the client, tried after updating and before updating, as admin and not admin still no deal.

you need to know the path to your Java to edit into run.bat

c:\Program Files (x86)\java\jre6\bin\java.exe 32bit
c:\Program Files\java\jre6\bin\java.exe 64bit

i am running 64 bit then. the quote i put in my other post is what i currently have in the .bat file so not sure why it isn't working, looks correct to me.

You need the full path. Yours is missing the "\java.exe" part on the end of it.

Yesterday it worked fine, but I can't seem to get Ender's to launch. I just get a black screen.

edit: Tried default client and doesn't seem to work either. Updating java to see what that does.
Hope you have a great day
