burgingham wrote:Thanks alot. One question, you cannot see the names of kins popping up over their head with this client. Is this a common problem with gilbetus or did that happen with the update? In any case, how to fix it?
Happened with the update, apparently. According to Avu:
Avu wrote:<Avu> the ones I can see [on the screen are still visible on mouseover] but it seems I can see only non villagers like that
<Avu> the ones in the same village is like I don't have kinned at all

Anyway, it's sort of usable atm, and SuperSpiff is actually porting the source code line by line, which should solve this problem. So I guess you'll have to wait until he's done :)

Pretty sure it's because the flag next to names.
Could be in those 3 mapview classes that you didn't port into your haven.jar.

Quite possible, yes. I suppose as a quick fix someone could try and copy over those mapviews. Not sure what gilbertus features that might break though. Perhaps xray and see-through, perhaps nothing.

And now my contribution!

HERE

This is just the updated haven.jar and run.bat. Drop it into your existing gilbertus' install. This is a more "proper" (though really not that different from Mqrius's) update, all the changes from the current client were ported over. Also, I took out the afk timer.

Also included is src.zip for those of you who like to compile from source.

while moving new haven.jar to the game folder my ark-client changes to gilbertus-client.. and i want to keep ark in case it's more comfortable for me.. i've tried to manually update class files that u've posted.. game starts like ark-client than crashes with error in session$RWorker.class

Exception in thread "Session reader" java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: enabled
    at haven.Session$RWorker.handlerel(Session.java:365)
    at haven.Session$RWorker.getrel(Session.java:383)
    at haven.Session$RWorker.run(Session.java:451)
how can i fix it?

this is an update for the gilbertus client. if you want an update to the ark client, ask the person who made the ark client, or someone else that knows what they are doing to update the ark client.

Ark client is the botting client, I doubt you'll get help with it, it was never even posted here, was posted on dfwk. Try contacting him from his site ,or update it yourself, those are your two options really, as I doubt anyone is going to just update it for you.

I couldn't log on today, even after updating the .bat file with the command line for the new server, it worked yesterday. So I downloaded the new client you guys put together and it now works like a charm....so far. The only thing is a have to redo the shortcut bars in the clients for all my characters...oh well.

Thanks for the work and thanks for hosting the download site.
