Map shows no caves, though. If it did, there'd be no unclaimed caves.

There are alot of bugs in it. And yes it's a bit outdated, so what? It's hard to map it all.
Be glad there is one.

yes it's hard to map it all but also ther's no way to help the mapping. I've tryed many times, with the program by alg but still my maps won't show or update in months. I think simply that something is broken in the alg map, it can't be updated.

Maibe alg update it manually? I hope not. XD

The problem is that the world map keeps getting corrupted while being updated with new sessions. And fixing those corruptions takes time ... again and again.
And fixing the matching problem code wise (if possible), after figuring out the why first of course, also costs time ... but as the world map is more or less fully filled, there is probably not that much incentive for it (debugging code can be pretty boring stuff.).)
(+ updating the map(s) seems to take a fair amount of processing time to.)

(Ignoring the CPU part.) The world map would probably be better of if Alg would delegate some stuff to some other, trusted and knowledgeable, users. (but that to takes time to setup.)

Well i'm not compleining about the corrupted parts. No one pay him to fix that and we have a good map afterall, but i don't know why, i cant update it. My area or newest area, nothing of those showes and i'm talking of an update 1 month old, so it's a lot of time ago.

Actually i've stopped from map the world until this problem will be fixed. If what i map is not showing, i'm mapping for nothing.

Well, is a good exercise for my memory when i trade in a blank area. XD
