I downloaded client, updated it, logged in, but when I try to log to HF or to place, I logged off, the client works 1 second and freezes. It freezes with log-in window and i cannot even close java without task manager. http://pix.am/RnOO/ - screenshot
It happens only when I try to log in with my main or alts. When I create new heartling, all works good until I log in again. I have 32x WinXP, latest java and updated client. My haven.jar is 1,03 mb
Run.bat:
Code: Select all
.\updater\HnH_updater.exe
start javaw -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res

Sorry for my bad english, if someone can answer in russian, pm me or write here. ;)

Just delete your belt files in the client that should work.

Pretty sure I set it up right....

Command prompt comes up and instantly closes, so I'm not sure what to do.

EDIT: NEVERMIND. I'M STUPID. SORRY TO TROUBLE.

I run the run.bat and nothing happens. I have looked at other problems people were having and tried a few things but it just doesn't work. Anything I'm doing wrong?

hmm - your run.bat looks ok - you're using 32Bit Ender with Java 32Bit ... so that's ok too, you might put the
Code: Select all
-r ./res

to your run.bat (but that's not the error!) :
"C:\Program Files\Java\Jre7\bin\javaw.exe" -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res

Only guess is the user account hasn't got admin rights...?!? Does the default client work?

The default client works and I'm positive I have admin privileges because forgot admin pass so ophcracked it and gave both accounts admin. I tried adding -r ./res did the same thing. Should I try uninstalling and reinstalling java?

I don't think Java is faulty as default is running...i'm suspicious when it comes to that User name ;)

I suggest making a Temp folder in root (c:\Temp) - copy Ender folder (or DL again and update.zip too) there and run from it...give it a try and report back pls

what windows is it?
wouldnt 32 bit java be Program Files (x86) ?
also maybe change it to java.exe instead of javaw.exe, and see if it outputs an error message?

His screen states
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe
so it's XP 32 ... so the Java Path is ok and javaw.exe too and as he ran the default without problems there must be a fault somewhere else...
