Code: Select all
javax.media.opengl.GLException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Color parameter outside of expected range: Alpha

I have been getting this crash on your client last couple weeks. I deleted my old folder and downloaded all new files from your link. Didn't solve the problem. I am assuming you haven't updated your client since they added transparency to objects picked up?

Disable IRC in the client. Or remove the hotfix (is integrated in XP SP3) from Windows which disables TCP/IP in case an app performs SYN-flood.

The irc code is shitty as hell, and I can't be arsed to change it =v

Deadlypencil: I haven't updated the client since loftar last broke it. I'm haven't played H&H in about two months now, so I wasn't aware that there was a potentially client breaking addition made. I'll see if I can update the client tomorrow.

There is a bug with russian nicknames in config.xml.cached on english system. Client writes nickname in "?????" and then, because of the codepage, cannot read it again - it creates duplicate entries.
BTW, bug is there because of ANSI-encoded settings file. Encode it in UTF-8, change ???? to your nick, and voila - belts loaded normally. But client rewrites file back in ANSI even if it's read-only.

Just reminding.

I *think* that has been fixed. I have no way to test it myself though.
