Yep, it's fixed. Thanks.
Btw, it's intended what now .bat file now has pause command at the end?

Yeah, its so that people can screenshot the exceptions whenever the client errors out.

Hi, I downloaded the most recent version of the Mac universal port, and I'm having troubles running it. I'm using the most recent Java, and I get this error.

Code: Select all
****-Mac-mini:~ Adam$ java -Djava.library.path=/Users/****/Desktop/haven-macosx-universal-full/ -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar ~/desktop/haven-macosx-universal-full/haven.jar -d sh.seatribe.se

I think it's because I'm using a command line that I used for an older version of your client, but I'm not sure what to change. (I starred out my name here, but I used the correct directories in the actual line)

To be honest, that looks more like a problem with java. If you were using an old client version, the client itself would tell you that its outdated on the login screen, it wouldn't just crash.

I'd guess the client was compiled with Java 1.6 and you're trying to run it with Java 1.5. If I recall correctly, though, Pacho has stated that his version of the client won't run with less than Java 1.6, or am I wrong?

By the way, you can check what version of Java you've got installed with "java -version".

@ Loftar: That is correct, it was compiled with Java 1.6 and has been confirmed that it simply will not run with anything less.

That's weird, since I just recently updated my Java. Bet, java -version yielded 1.5.0_24, so I dunno. =/

Software update is stupid.

So uh, just in case loftar decides to mess with the client:

My computer recently decided the the vista installation it came with is no longer valid (it magically swapped its product key with a random jumble of numbers & letters) and since I can't input the original one due to a worn out sticker, I've been forced to perform some drastic measures to make my installation safe once more. This means that I've had to delete a shitton of stuff from my harddrive to open up space including the H&H client code. Pray that loftar doesn't break the client soon, it'll be a while before I get everything set up again =v
