Ender, so far for myself, the update is working fabulously. :) It's made my game faster/more responsive. I'm running the 32 bit client on Vista home premium 64 bit os. Haven't had the patience to get the client functional in my linux Mint install yet though...

Either it's a false positive or you haven't got the original file - you can always do an online scan at virustotal
Here's the results of a scan with original one made in may:

How Do I Use Ender's Client?

Postby Daktoria » Sat Sep 21, 2013 8:07 pm

I downloaded the 64 bit version from the website and got a zip folder to extract, but now, I don't know what to do.

Can anyone please help me?

inside the unpacked folder is a run.bat that you have to edit to point to your 64 Bit Java i.e.
Code: Select all
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res

When I go to edit, it says,
Code: Select all
start javaw -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res

My java file is,
Code: Select all
‪C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe

How would I edit that correctly?

Why do you grab Ender 64Bit when you have 32 Bit Java only ?!?

You can download and install 64 Bit Java if you run 64 Bit Windows ( then the posted run.bat (edited) above is right) or DL Ender 32 Bit and edit the run.bat:
Code: Select all
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe" -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res

you should grab the update.zip too (fits both Bit versions) and unpack into Ender folder

My computer settings say I have 64 bit Windows. I thought they were the same. :-\

Anyway, thanks. I'll try that and see what happens.
