Is there any way to resize the UI?
I sometimes use my TV as monitor and dont want to use a telescope just to figure the UI out. I tried fullscreen to get around that but the screen just turns black with only the mouse pointer showing up when I try that.

No way to resize the UI - you would have to recode it yourself

Not sure how much the OS build in handicap tools could help you like maginfy.exe

going black when fullscreen might be a matter of your graphic card, settings (and the capabilities of your TV) - guess it depends a bit on how much memory you can use for your graphic card - also have a look whether there are firmware updates for your TV (a friend had a similiar problem with his Sony which we could solve by updating)

It seems java.util.prefs.WindowsPreferences is trying to save information in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs instead in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs (\haven)

Prolly you ran run.bat without admin rights - you might try with a shortcut to run.bat and right click and "run as administrator" (?!? depending on OS i guess)

If it works go Properties->Shortcut->Advanced configure it to always ask for elevation

Well, seems to be a problem with my internet, and i found that it becomes fixed when i switch my VPN off and then back on (to a torrent-able open vpn network) Its weird but oh well, at least I found the problem.

Seems the most trouble you get in because you're playing HnH over VPN and not normal gateway. As i don't know what reasons you have to do it like that, i can only suggest setting the VPN for torrent use only (if that's your cause) - just google for tutorials how to do it. -> error No 1

not sure but i guess the res file can't be downloaded from server in a proper time and thus the Ceres client uses the version from it's haven-res.jar which is prolly an older version... (just downloading the Ceres client to have a look but it will take me another hour as i'm on low inet speed atm)

into Ceres - it contains version 5 of laystone.res for sure

I'm attempting to run the enders client, but its not working.

I am getting an error that says moltke.seatribe.se and i have searched the forums but nobody has had this problem.

Help please? I know this game will be alot more fun and easier with it and I really want to enjoy it.

you need to explain more and copy-paste the whole error message. i dont think anyone can tell what kind of problem you have got there with just that.
