I don't know. Not to speak ill of J&L, but let's face it, the base client is something everyone in the know knows NOT to use, and instead everyone flocks to the user-made clients, like Arksu, Gilbertus, and Ender, so in one sense, H&H is already partly open source as is.
Furthermore, this may be subjective and a sign of my personal tastes, but I feel Daji > Jorb in the sprite department. About the only sprites of Jorb I still like over Daji are his silk sprites, inkweed, and his ceramic stuff. Otherwise, it seems like Daji is like a graphical update, expressed in the analogy Jorb:8-bit::Daji:16-bit. On a side note, the Zhivago character model is a vast improvement over the original Jorb model, so, what am I saying...? Hmmm, maybe a little open source help, especially now that their time is split working with Salem, might not be a bad thing? *cowers in hole awaiting Jorbnuke*
Or, J&L could hire Ender and Daji on as their minions, and all four work together, or just whip the piss out of them. Hooray for minions.
Back on subject now, loving the idea for new kiln. It looks so cool, plus the wood next to and in the kiln makes it feel more dynamic and used. Also, been loving the autumn birch trees and spring oaks. Makes forests feel even more lively and colorful than before. Also, the new cursors are actually a but crisper than the old ones. It actually makes seeing them easier at times, as well.
