i think you'd better ask this romovs in his thread how he did in Anemone and if he's willing to give you instructions - or you look at the source codes yourself to find out ...

This is not the right thread for that question

Jumping back a bit here sorta, since I didn't locate much help from my particular situation in previous threads. I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 x32bit LTS, and I was able to run the updater with openJDK6 (it interestingly enough didn't work with Icedtea, couldn't read the JNLP file), and it did whatever it did smoothly. however, I only have the updater.jar file, no specific folder or game client anywhere, it seems to just run from the .jar and I have to open it with OpenJDK6 O.=.o I was wondering if this is supposed to happen and/or how I may have the game client as a folder, or icon, and how to apply updates/mods, any help would be much appreciated ^.=.^;

PS: I'm completely new to Linux and Ubuntu, I used to be mildly savvy with Windows XP which was my favorite OS till they faded it out...sad day for me that was....but needless to say Ubuntu is completely different and I am so very lost and confused what with some things being able to be done for me automatically through packages and others having to be done manually (not to mention I never really got to learn DOS, which I've noticed it's very similar to)

you need to create a folder and drop the updateer.jar into and run it from there - Ender client files gets downloaded into that folder then (including the jogl and gluegen libaries afaik) - you need to create a run.sh file afterwards yourself

custom client on Linux thread - best read from newest posts to oldest

if you got more questions post in that thread please

Good decision to go Linux to replace XP ( same i'm doing with Debian Wheezy but i'm not fiddling with Java + HnH atm as i need to have it running proper with other stuff first) - there are good Books on using Ubuntu or Linux out there - helps a lot !

Save map - useless

-Makes sense considering the clients designation

-It did not create folder untill i took first screenshot

-9001 pictures of individual minmap tiles found, guess you are right

Summary: Thank you very much.

for local maps (in Browser)

When doing a fresh Ender install with updater.jar you don't get the needed currentsession.js and map.html no more so you need to grab them from an old install...

There is a map merge program on the Salem forums that works for Haven Ender client.

I have a question about the Haven version, is it possible to set the default window position, size and not full screen or get it to save from previous load? Also, seed bag (they all stack) and container window locations.

Sadly Ender doesn't remembers it's window size so you need to resize or full screen it after starting the client...
(Been too lazy to check whether it can be changed or fixed in i.e. MainFrame.java or else)

Cupboard positions (Cupboard_pos) and others are stored in windows.conf in Ender folder which can be edited with a text editor
