this is the only one that brings up the haven screen
it says could not connect to server also the windows system that black screen stays up with just the run on it

Replace "sh.seatribe.se" with "moltke.seatribe.se".
The black screen staying up is normal.

What is the content of your run.bat?
What is the filesize of your haven.jar?

"C:\Windows\SysWOW64" -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se

and haven.jar is 698kb

Try replacing the "C:\Windows\SysWOW64" with just "java".
If that doesn't work, try finding out where your java is installed, and replace it with "C:\[path\to\java]\java"

I can't seem to figure out how to disable music ( cave song, cabin song ), the checkbox in the option screen simply doesn't work.

I've tryed lowering the volume to 0%, but that disables just the sound effects, not the music.
I've tryed deleting what I think are the sound files, located here: "haven-res.jar\res\sfx\", yet nothing.

Any tip is wellcome ...

If you're on windows 7, you could just lower the volume in the taskbar for just HnH.
