1. The World 4 was suddenly wiped tonight. All characters, items and maps are gone. This is why your character selection screen is empty (if i understood you correctly)
2. You get "The client is too old" message because official client was updated by loftar tonight. You can't do anything about Ender's client, just play with official client until EnderWiggin update his client too.
