LMFAO I'm such a dunce, i thought you mean for the new world to be generated. The World map usually takes... 2ish weeks? Week and a half?

this is where i would logicly expect this thread to go, so this is where i am posting it. feel free to move it if it belongs somewhere else.

I know in world 6, Sabinati hosted a world map that was collected by various people.

do we know if there will be anything like this for world 7?

If you need users to collect map data, I'd be glad to help, though i have zero clue how that would work.

spavaloo, just keep your eyes open for a w7 mapping thread and I'm sure there will be instructions inside

the way it has worked in the past is this:
you use ender's client or something similar
it automatically remembers all the minimaps you have explored
a program made by the mapmaker dude zips them up and sends them to him
he figures out the rest on his end

its like magic, really.

Don't forget to delete all your useless W6 map files from your enders' map/ folder :)

Lots of disk space freed up...

Ah, wunderbar.

This gives me an excuse to do nothing but wander around the haven map for days on end, which I absolutely love doing.
