Ok, reinstall properly. Then download updater.jar and try to run it again. Also read this thread;

It shouldnt have given error if you have java installed. Sorry i dont know more. I hope "Master" Borka or someone else helps you out.

Well, After much help from sarah, I managed to start enders. However it's a temporary victory due to what looks like ender crashing. I created a run.bat but apparently I'm not doing it right, Because no command prompt is coming up when I run the updater. Basically it takes me to the log in screen and it either turns black or stutters? I guess that's how you'd describe it. And wont let me log in.

What I mean is it wont even let me log int. it's either black or stuttering
