Game Client modified by Ender

So I've done that and can't say it's done much. Still unable to use in game chat system or extend my claim.

I try to open update.jar inside client folder and i get an error message that pops up for a fraction of a second. I believe it says
'Error: Could not find or load main class C:\Users\Justin\Desktop\HnH_Ender_x32\HnH_Ender_x32\updater.jar'

Doesn't say which folder, and considering there is no original updater file in the client folder I think it would be easy to misunderstand.

some folder, meaning you just make a new folder or use a folder you already have for the client.

how come people act like its just fine to be a computer illiterate and blame the contributers instead for not giving enough explanation like we all should be medium to see your issue without any details these days? cant some ppl be humble enough when asking for help?

check your Java is updated - it should be: jre7u67 (1.7.0_67)

Open Notepad, copy and paste this into
(choose the right one suiting your Windows Bit version)

32 Bit Windows + 32 Bit Java

Code: Select all

"C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -jar updater.jar

64 Bit Windows + 32 Bit Java

Code: Select all

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -jar updater.jar

save as update.bat in your Ender folder (make sure you choose "any file" in Notepad save menu not "text file")

run by doubleclicking it

I wasn't trying to blame Ender I was only admitting to my illiteracy and accepting that it would be easy for me to misunderstand. Sorry for coming off arrogant, and I really appreciate the help Borka has given me so far which he already has on multiple accounts.

Borka, I have made the text file and changed it to .bat, then saved with the other client files. I have triple checked to make sure everything was right, when I try to open the file it comes up with another error that only appears for a fraction of a second, I kept running it over and over to try to make out what it says.

It's something like this
( C:\Users\Justin\Desktop\HnH_Ender_x32\HnH_Ender_x32>"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -updater.jar
Unrecognized option: -updater.jar
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occured. Program will exit )

Does this mean I should redownload the client updater again and place it with the update.bat?

Edit: Java is updated btw.

Edit: If we don't end up solving this it's not a huge deal. The client is still playable for sure, I'd just have to hop on original client to use claim settings or chat

Mien Ender's isn't working. I can't find a run.bat, not in my Java folder, not in the folder I run the updater in, no where. It just isn't there. I wants my Ender's. I miss my Ender's.

Create it on your own. Make any text file or something and rename it to run.bat, then edit it and put in the needed line you find in first post as:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se

Ofcourse, use your own path.
