you should update to Java7 if you're running Java6 (as it's not supported anymore and has security flaws hat won't get fixed)

Hey everybody. I realize this is a common problem but since I've tried every suggested solution and nothing worked, I'm just gonna post here.
Whenever I get to certain places, my game boots me back to the log in screen and won't let me log in until I spawn at hearthfire. It's definitely a problem with the map since I've tried having a friend drive me to the spot (it crashed), then he drove away from it and I could log in again without a problem.
At first I thought it was because of the crops, so I turned on simple crops but it didn't help.
I already forwarded ports. I'm not using an AV or a FW. I tried reinstalling different Java versions and it didn't help.
None of the friends I play with (4 people) have ever had the same crash as me even though all of us installed the exact same client.

I'm using Win7 64 bit and Java7 Update 67. NVidia Geforce graphics card with the latest drivers.

Another thing to add is that the problem doesn't seem to appear in the normal client (I've only tried it at one spot and it didn't crash) but I'd really like to try fixing the Ender's Client because it's so much more convenient.

I hope someone can help me with this since it's really frustrating. I really like this game. :)

Thanks in advance!

have you tried with moving the belts_charname.conf files out of Ender folder ?

pause argument in run.bat - error log in CMD window?

Not a good thing to turn off build in FW in Windows7

Thanks for the quick reply.
About the belts files..I've read about that a couple of times but the thing is I either can't find them or outright don't have them. Could you specify the location for me? Searching comes up with nothing.
Pause argument unfortunately does not help and I don't know how to get the bat to output an error log.

When you configure hotkey belts the config file is written inside Ender folder - if you haven't configured belts there's no file

When there's no errors shown in CMD window (pause argument is just for let it stay open) then it's prolly neither a fault with Java, client or connection.

If that certain spot isn't important for you i'd say don't go there - if it is you might create an Alt to have a HF there or give Loftar a PM which includes the Coords ...

The problem is that it happens whenever I get close to certain inhibited areas. If I knew where exactly those were it would be no problem to dodge it. But since it happens a lot it would really limit my gameplay :/
I'm going to check if I get any errors the next time it happens and report here in case there are.
Thanks for the help so far!

its rather an old issue reported often before, but, possibly this?

if not, try searching the forum by "router".

Threaded Optimization on Auto works fine for me - i guess it's a problem of his ISPs routing (as long he hasn't a certain Speedport routermodel :P )
