You mean sound? Because music can be disabled. You just need to click little above checkbox. Don't know why ask Loftar :P

A way to show damage indicator in a possible area is better...

Maybe...

move the "damage" indicator that appears when you hit enemies and is hit by them, to appear in a easier to see area, like bigger text in the middle of the screen.
Hopefully there's another method by making damage appear in the "message" box for text:

"Fox hits [Character name] for x (red) damage and y (yellow) injury!"
"[Character name] hits Fox for x (red) damage and y (yellow) injury!"

Other than the message box, I just want to know what damage I'm doing and I want to track the last 5 "hits" done or taken, on the side of the screen, like a damage/combat bar.

I'm running Vista, this happens t'me. ;) Also, the methods listed previously don't seem to work for me, or I"m just doing it wrong.

How do you get this to run on a mac?

Macs cannot run .bat files, and when launching haven.jar, the HnH window that comes in will not log me in. It keeps procing "Connection refused".

Can you put this all into a single .jnlp like Pacho did? thanksss :)

Too bad fullscreen defaults to 1024X768. Pretty much useless for me. I hate software render mode. Lags like all hell when ya get close to wheat fields. Looks like I am stickin with Pachos until something of the like comes along where Widescreen fullscreen formats are supported

I think it's either the mac does not like java, or you did something wrong... And I'm really sure it's the former.
Apple doesn't like making it's OS "workable" with other softwares... They are that "closed" minded... >_>

Now that I think about it, the Mac doesn't open a java file like it should, because it uses it's own set of files to run things... No idea on that part though (I once installed a "mac" version of msn onto a mac desktop at bestbuy). >_>
The file looks weird to me cause I always use a PC.

Wait so you can't force the game to render in ANOTHER option? What about OpenGL?
I have a pretty high end laptop and it gets graphical lag from just viewing the game in a huge resolution, which is funny because I know it can do better...

on a mac/*nix open the command window thing, go to the right folder, and type chmod +x run.bat and it should run if you doubleclick it

Ah, it's a permission problem...
Wait. chmod is something from linux! Or maybe linux imitated the best of PC and Mac or something.

This is great! I hope this client takes off, I haven't really been taking care of my client except from keeping it up to date (as you can see from the tons of unfinished stuff) so I hope your enthusiasm doesn't waver as mine has.
