Please finish all of your homework.

See if copying the "jogl*" files from a Ender client (32bit version) to that Union client will do the trick. (overwrite when needed)

instead just java put in the path to your Java i.e.

Code: Select all
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jreX\bin\java.exe" -Xms512m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se
pause

Where X is the number of your jre version - with 32 Bit client try with javaw.exe

I can't even get the client to load now.
I double click on run and nothing happens.
All I know is my Java updated and then it stopped working.

If you are getting this error when trying to press a button then I had exactly the same error. my java became corrupt after installing netbeans.
Have you installed any java applications since you had the client running fine?

the only way I could find to fix the issue was to uninstall netbeans and all java versions I had on my pc, then install the latest java.

I just saw that you said your java updated.
the logical thing to do would be to uninstall the update. but it's more likely that the update corrupted your java.
I would completely uninstall, then put the version you had before it updated back on.

Is the Script Engine incompatible with Java 8 ?!?

If you had autoupdate turned on in Java7 you'll automatically get updated to Java 8 now

Union is incompatible with Java 8.
But you can install Java 7 in parallel and then start with something like:
union.bat wrote:C:
cd C:\HH\Union
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xms512m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se

So I uninstalled my Java(Version 8), rebooted my computer and then reinstalled Java(Version 7 Update 45) and then restarted my computer again.
I am wondering if I need to re-download the entire Union stuff again so that it will recognize that I have changed my Java.

After the re-installation of Java 7 update 45, I double clicked run in the build folder and it brought up the little window and then closed a few seconds later.

u45 is oooold and insecure better grab u75
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/ ... 80261.html

make sure the bit version of Java and client is the same - also disable autoupdate in JCP

edit your union run.bat
correct path to Java
new line with
Code: Select all
pause
