Yes there was another in custom_res folder. It's kinda confusing now in client having so much resource folders from so many client versions... :?

Hi,

I am using Apoc client. I had to change the .bat file when running the client from "Java" to my actual java location so "C:/programfiles.. etc"

My partner i live with also wants to use Apoc and shes downloaded both 32 bit and 64 bit and nether work. she has tried changing the "java" to the location. She has even let me teamviewer her computer and i have tried numerous different things even running as admin and other things.

We are both stomped trying to get this working.. She is running 64 bit Windows 7. with 64 bit java. We have updated the java to the latest
She can only get the 32 bit ender client to work, so that is why we attempted 32 bit apoc client. We also went to her working ender client and moved the run.bat code over to the apoc client run.bat - This also did not work.

furthest we get is if we run the actual haven.jar we get to the login screen but cannot do anything. Cannot login or put accounts in.
When we run the run.bat file it just flashes up the CMD box for a split second.

Can anyone help? If you need more information I can supply you with it. Thank you so much in advance.

EDIT: FROM THE UK. both of us.
TRAITORS WILL BE SHOT.

you might try with checking / unchecking active Java in JCP
example screen (in german) in this post
http://www.havenandhearth.com/forum/vie ... 40#p491840

Also drop a new line containing
Code: Select all
pause
into run.bat to keep CMD window open for possible error messages to show and post

post run.bat(s)

There is a safer mining script that won't allow you to mine tiles that will cause or have a chance of causing cave ins, included in apoc lite. ;)

I might be being a complete idiot - probably am, but having put some brodgar blue on racks in a mine which I believe should turn it into jorb (which I havent made any of yet this world..) your timer is showing it turning into generic gouda. 'Spose I will find out whether it's me or the client that's wrong in a day or two.. but thought I would mention it,

Great client btw, easily the best for normal gameplay that I have seen so far.

@Magisticus I looked in the code. It looks all good, it might be your client is running the older version and it's not getting the correct data. There is also a small bug where if you standing on paved tiles inside a mine and look at the racks, the client will think your on the surface and not inside the mines. That might be the reason your showing making generic gauda instead of the client recognizing the cave. I don't have any solution for that other then try and make sure your not standing on paved tiles inside your cave when looking at the racks.

@MrBunzy Someone else had the same issue running the client on a mac. I honestly don't understand the reason behind it failing like that. I could only advice to update to a later version of java and give it a try. If that doesn't help please report back and I'll give it a closer look. Right now I suspect that it must be the older java version that can cause the issue.

Edit: Actually Magisticus your right. I just noticed that cave tiles are not part of the cave recognizing list. Its an easy fix, right now only mine entrance and dug out cave areas are recognized as cave. I will add regular cave tiles as well. The only tile inside the cave that wont ever be recognized as cave are paved tiles in the mines.
