That said, the stone texture looks really really good (although might be a little too detailed to the point where it's distracting in high volume).

so tiles will have a center it has to be an odd number.

Indeed, but I don't figure how many pixels there is really in each tiles
The "lame" things is the numbers of transitions to do, instead of using a mask or an alpha channel
The seems there are only an average of 3 variations of each soil/terrain, but the transitions are 3 x every possibilities, so near sixty

The main problem is because to achieve a seamless terrain and do that with a nice texture is hard

...transition?
...center?

Am i the only one that still make texture in loop in a square and nothing more O_o?
Sigh ç_ç i feel so old.

you're still right in the methods but it's not a "real" texture like in a 3d engine : nothing square, the graphic are like they appear on the screen, a 2d iso tileset

like that for the principe or that for the example

yeah, but then what's this Transition you're talking about?

Edit: Don't told me that you're simply meaning..how many border solution you need. Oh.

Anyway to fastly discover how much pixel is a tile, draw a paint red borded tile and each pixel of a border, draw a different color dot. You'll know where the tile end looking at the last color it show to you.

Loving the work so far, and I'm on pins and needles waiting for the mulberry tree to be up for download!
I'm nuts over the floor tiles too, I'd love to see what you could do with animals. :D
