To the last three posts: Mapper's fine, Hide's fine, its your computer.

Please make sure you are getting the one marked "Update" in the first post, the ones linked to by is.gd links, should be titled 32-bit-updated.zip not update.zip -- make sure it's updated with a d. That's the latest version Gilbertus' has done anything with. It seems possible that with Gil's "absence" or lack of updates that the new "Ender" client may be the "go-to" client of this world. It claims all the same features plus some more, not the least of which a Ruskie-English translator, and grid-showing (nice for determining where your tiles are for placement.

You won't be saying that in a week or two when you realize how many abandoned homes there are. A 30 second boat ride south of my village literally bring you to the ghetto. There's abandoned claims everywhere with the occasional newb taking things and raiders patrolling. It reminds me of Detroit.

There's a map folder and you open map.html in the map folder to view your current session map. There is a stitcher linked earlier in this thread for all-images stitching - it works mostly.

Have fun.

Did you even read the posts? It worked fine. For two days. Now it does not. I downloaded the client you're talking about. Nothing in it changed. The front page says plain and simple that you need the source code for the client available or the hh-update.zip, most likely for it to hotswap the files out to make them blank when you toggle it. Neither of these are present in the client I have, but then they never were, yet it did work before.

I've tried reinstalling the client entirely, clearing Haven's cache, installing to a separate location and running from there, but nothing makes it work again.

And it works fine on my computer and I have changed NOTHING about my configuration of the game. Something in your computer has changed. The hh-update.zip is a set of files that are integrated in with the hh-windows-32bit updated.zip file. So we'll start with the following: What has changed after the two day period? Have you tried deleting the WHOLE folder and reinstalling (by re-extracting) from the .zip file?

EDIT: You are making sure that there are things checked in the "Hide Objects" section of Options, and using Ctrl+H, and there's not some other program capturing Ctrl+H on your computer, RIIIGHT?

Nothing has changed. It sits in a folder by itself and I run it from a .bat file from a desktop shortcut. Yes, I've reinstalled it, deleted the .haven cache, placed it somewhere totally new and run it from there to prevent any changes to files. The only thing I've not tried is running it on another computer, which I may try here shortly. I don't need to use or change the haven folder, so I don't even bother to open it.

(Sorry for the late reply, tried to get this into the previous post):

When you indicate desktop shortcut, have you tried just running the run.bat straight without the shortcut? Updated Java lately (6u23)? Uhhh, no file permissions changes you can think of?

I can't log in using the client. I know my username/pass is right, as I can sign in here. I tried updating my haven.jar, and even downloading a whole new client, but it still won't log in.

There really should be a new thread stickied up with the others about that stuff actually. People will just keep coming in here asking instead of reading, like anything. Like this guy:

Thank you for not having the two braincells to rub together proven by not posting your request for help in the thread that is made for issues like yours that is directly underneath this thread. Now, onto the help:

90% of the problems (including the one you are asking about) are fixed using the flow chart on the first post of this thread:
"Gilbertus isn't working!" Troubleshooting flowchart. (http://www.havenandhearth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=12278)

Also, Information on the Map system. Link to the Posts about 6 pages back that has some useful info.

Way to be a dick. I went through the troubleshooting chart, that's why I posted here. Sorry I didn't realize this thread wasn't for problems...
