Rather, how can I make circumvent the built in map tool that I don't understand and have it put out images of the map?

drop map.html and currentsession.js into merge folder, then edit currentsession.js
i.e.
Code: Select all
var currentSession = '2014-08-16 05.18.39';

where the date part is the name of map subfolder you want to show

Is there a way to just show all of the directories? Should I just stick to Ender's for mapping?

are you talking about simplyfied maps (simplemap) ?

In Apoc you toggle to simlyfied maps then push the disk icon - a folder "simplemap" gets created and simple map gets stored in a subfolder there (works the same as in Ender)

Ok, so how do I use run.bat? Do I have to edit anything in it?

you just doubleclick a .bat file (it will open CMD.exe), if it doesn't run the client you might need to edit in the path to your Java

When I double click cmd.exe flashes on screen for a split second and immediately disappears, how would I edit the path to my java?
