What is "SleepisDeath", and why would you need my graphics for it.

Until I get a more detailed explanation, you're not allowed to. :geek:

EDIT: Wait, nevermind. I looked it up a bit, and I don't know if I can give access to do so, as I will have no control if wether they'll be claimed as someone else's stuff somewhere in the future or not. I prefer for these graphics to remain in Haven and Hearth. So no, sorry.

I've mentioned before, that if you want something done, feel free to PM me, or ask for my e-mail adress so we can speak there. I may be able to make something else.

Before use, before it ended up in a flipbooks someone else was controlling it would be posted on sidtube by me, ensuring that you receive credit as I did for pheobus. I need to update the description with links so the attribution is clearer just yet. It's not really a popular game. Maybe less than a few dozen people actually play. Sidetube is pretty much the only public repository for content.

I understand. It's not necessary. I can find sprites all over. I'm not really a pixel artist. I'm a storyteller. I just really liked a few of your pieces. Namely, the metal bars (the old short ones with the etching actually) and some of the foods and jewelry. Don't worry about it. I'll respect your wishes either way. I Still haven't hit up any of the UAC for Wesnoth or The Mana World (FOSS 2D pixel art based games).

It's a wierd little game between two people who basically create a pixel art scene based story through a asininely archaic interface by 'games as art' bull- excuse to not programming to modern standards or updating his work.

That and...maybe garnering interest in the game.

You have too many particles in the new images.

By that I mean, when I pick a stone off the boulder, I pick up one stone not one stone and six other pebbles.

Simplicity can sometimes be beautiful.

Keep in mind that its supposed to be pixel art-ish, too. Some of them get a little too sloshed with the different strokes of colors, etc. I think some of your new stuff is a little too amorphous and needs to be crisp and definite.

Ore looks nice but everything else is off.

Care to elaborate?

When I make stuff cartoony, people complain about it, when I make stuff too "detailed", people complain about it. I need to find a delicate balance.

Soil looks alright for the most part, if not a little bland. Also the little trail in the bottom left looks out of place. Stone is annoying for the reasons that ewlol supplied. When I think of chipping a stone and then slinging a bear with it I think of a singular stone, not a bunch of particles. Ore looks really good, and coal looks really weird like it's stretched vertically or something. Doesn't look like a regular "lump" of coal that I envision.

Also just a note that I actually prefer your older more "cartoony outlined" style. While the detailed objects look really good, you also have to factor into how they merge with the graphics that are already in the game. Unless you're going to do a COMPLETE graphic overhaul of the game, you can really tell which objects are "aftermarket" while playing the game. (Daji's new boulder looks really good singularly, but when placed in the actual game it sticks out like a sore thumb and is merely a distraction)
