Utopic feature request : A movement queuing system, that allows you to shift+click at locations X, Y and Z, and then brings you to X before going to Y and then Z.
e.g. : shift+moving units in starcraft 2.

Not sure wether this is on the good side of the boting/usability line.
Not sure that it's codable or easily codable either, :p.

Its not pathfinding, it just enables that when moving from spot A to C, and there's a tree in the middle, you can hold shift and click to spot B (which is somewhere to a side) and then immediately C, and then the character will automatically proceed to spot C after reaching spot B, thus avoiding a tree. (for example)
Right now you have to click to get to B, wait for character to get there and then click to go to C, otherwise you bump into a tree.

I suck at explaining things but if you understood that, great. Imo, I'm not sure it's even possible to do it by editing a client but I'm not a programmer so... It would be a nice thing to have.

Actually, not pathfinding.
The idea would be to have an "order buffer" which could record a sequence of orders (here, move orders) and wait for it to be done to send the next order.

As i said, I can't tell wether is it very hard or just utopic, but that's really something I would love (and I guess other people would aswell :p).

Emergency update. available through updater and update archive at MediaFire.
  • quick fix for weird resource version number
  • made cameras borderless. HOME button centers on player.
  • made swimming, tracking and criminal acts display in buff list when turned on.

Ooo!! Nice additions!

And thanks for the quick update to the problem. Hopefully J&L will be on top of things to get this resolved.

When you enter a cellar camera doesnt move, it still shows a partly loaded room/cellar. Home resets camera position though but its annoying.

p.s. oh and a suggestion: add a camera reset button on the minimap window... imo its easier to click it with a mouse than to look for a home key on keyboard.

I'm having trouble starting the client because Windows cannot find -Xms256m. I tried searching for it on my computer, but there were no results.

Contents of Run file:

Code: Select all
.\updater\HnH_updater.exe
start "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe" -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r \.res
pause

I've looked at the flowchart and see nothing about Windows being able to find the path to -Xms256m.

So I'm housesitting for 3 weeks, but the house I'm at only has a Mac. I'm not very familiar with them, but am not about to go 3 weeks with H, so can someone help me with getting this to run on here. Its running OSX 10.5.8, so if anyone can give me the script, and perhaps where java would be located on these crazy machines, that would be awesome.
Today is a good day to die.
