Your run.bat lacked the -r .res parameter.
Try the updated client as that parameter is no longer required.

How do I use my Google API key? I placed it within the client, and I have the translator enabled, and set to Eng. Nothing gets translated

Would be cool if you could get the client to work with the world map. Perhaps the map maker could make a tiny API for the client to talk to it in exchange for automatic uploading of tiles to the map? Would be pretty cool. A feature I can think of is the client figuring out your loc and hence being able to keep track of your coords if the world map and client would work together.

Anyone know why it kicks me out as soon as I login? It starts up fine, I login...and then it immedietly crashes. I have newest client.

Are you sure you use latest client? One that says it's v18.04.11? I've removed necessity to add -r ./res into bat file at this version. If you have older version - update. Or add -r ./res to your bat file.

P.S. Oh, I see you used updater, so you should have the latest version. Do you have res folder in your client folder?

I fixed it. I was missing a file that didn't copy over properly. At least I think that was the problem. I deleted the entire contents of the folder, then re-copied stuff over and it worked.

I realize that with the update, you can hotkey anything on the menu no matter the page but to answer your question:

There is a hotkey to change the menu page:

Shift+N on the English client.

New version available through updater and update archive on MediaFire. Mostly chat improvements:
  • Partly fixed camera jumping
  • made global chat part of chat panel
  • added button to menu to show global chat (X->G)
  • added smileys to chat
Smileys could be configured in smileys.conf file. It is list of tab delimited key-value pairs. Key is text to replace and value is resource name(from res/smiley folder) to replace with.
