Gee, it would be a real shame if someone leaked their archer drone scripts that auto-aim when you highlight someone.

Or just combat bots in general.

Or text clients for botting.

I think its time for Jorb to say F haven and just take the server down, I mean common what is the point of playing a game if all you are going to do is bot? Mining bots , combat bots, farming bots, hearth bots. there is no point anymore. You cant even siege a town anymore when they see a ram all they do is put and invulnerable object in front of it and bam no more ramming. Now you cant even track someone online, all they do is use the hearth bot. GG haven.

there are still plenty of people who don't. The ones who have an auto hearth would be bots at anyrate, i cant imagine how frustrating it would be to be auto hearthed the moment someone comes into radar :?

though I do agree with the botting part, but to some extent that is there loss, Surely they lose interest in the game if they have a bot for every task, they wouldn't actually be doing anything so why would they bother with a game they dont play?

One part of game are bots, that DO CHORES by auto, which you need to stand like an idiot to do manualy.

2nd part is using scripts that are shitty, like summon script, heart script and probably even combat script, which are way to ruin the game. (and lag script?)

It shows the current state the game is in when a necessity arises for such a tool to be created. People could have written such a script a long time ago, but they never did. It is even highly ambiguous since I often would not want my toon to auto-hearth, yet people seem to want to use it and accept the negative side effects it has rather than to take the risk of encountering a stranger at all.

I would like to point out that if that will happen more often than not people might start bugraids.

That's a very lonely world that people must play in. It's sort of sad =(

Well, this client has been discontinued, so don't worry about me putting "auto-hearth" in it as an option. When it comes to everyone else, those who can figure out how to compile the source themselves can figure out how to implement auto-hearth, so nothing has changed. You won't see the shadowchrises of this world suddenly auto-hearthing.
(I actually accept bmjclark's point, however, it's going to become available sooner or later, so the travel system has to be revamped.)

Aww, and I was just going to suggest client-side pathfinding :(

I'm also pretty sure it can be tweaked so it autoques a move if you get too close to an enemy so you can't get suckerpunched. I do believe this is what Nao has been talking about when he said he's immune to being hit on the move.
